    Note from Stanislas Buffet: « The robe: Champagne with intense straw yellow colour. Medium effervescence but still present despite the age of this cuvée with thin bubbles.

    The nose: Incredible range of aromas. Intense, wealthy, complex including stewed fruits notes. First of all, yellow fruits (peach, apple, apricot), white fruits (pear), citrus (orange). Then, floral aromas (honey), empyreumatic notes (caramel) and slight nuances of oxidation (nut).

    The mouth: Tenuous foam with thin bubbles. Creamy mouthfeel. Entry is surprisingly fresh with an acidity still present despite the numerous years. Very pleasant balance between freshness and ontuouness.

    Aromas range of the palate is incredibly wealthy with intense stewed fruits notes: yellow fruits  (peach, quince), white fruits (pear), exotic fruits (mango, pineapple). Floral notes (honey), empyreumatic aromas (caramel, bun, toasted bread), bitter notes (orange peel) and intense salty notes (iodine). The palate presents also some oxidative notes (nut) and dried fruits notes (roasted almond).

    Finish full of empyreumatic notes (chocolate, mocha, bun, biscuit, toast), candied fruits notes (quince), floral notes (honey) and dried fruits aromas.

    Concentrated finish with remarkable breadth. Aromatic persistence with incredible lenght (12 à 14 sec) sustained by a well present acidity.
