Note from the wine maker vigneron: “The Sensation brut rosé cuvée is made from a maceration between pinot noir and chardonnay grape varieties. Entirely vinified in 300 liters oak barrels, wood flavours are discreet and well blended. Finally, chardonnay is added to the vinified rosé in order to provide fineness and refinement.”
Note from Stanislas Buffet: “The originality of this cuvée is the simultaneous maceration of pinot noir and chardonnay grapes as well as the vinification in oak barrels, giving fat and high volume to this rosé cuvée. The result is remarkable.”
Note from the wine maker: “Colour : Pink with a hint of orange Nose : A precise, but well developed nose, dominated by aromas of strawberries and raspberries. Palate : Crisp, precise and fruity. A wine that blends fullness and freshness to delightful effect. The finish is frank, with a slight hint of wood. A rich and masculine rosé champagne.”
Note from Stanislas Buffet: “The robe: Brigth and limpid. Intense orange-pink. Intense effervescence. Very thin bubbles.
The nose: Intense. Elegant and thin fruity taste with red fruits aromas (strawberry, raspberry, red currant) and black fruits (black currant).
The mouth: Creamy foam, not very concentrated. Bubbles are thin and delicate. The first taste is fresh and round. Tannic structure well blended. A lot of fat. Very nice balance. Palate: Broad. Beautiful structure. Aromatic range including black fruits (black currant, eldeerberry) and red fruit (red currant). The wood is discreet and elegant. Finish : fresh and round, long and fruity aftertaste.”
